It was absolutely the highlight of the trip. Rome, Paris, London were all nice and exciting, but you and your hospitality is by far first class. ho già iniziato questa mail tre volte e poi ho cancellato tutto.
Ma come faccio a spiegarti senza parole banali perchè stare da voi e con voi è stata un'esperienza così speciale?
Io credo, e lo credo davvero, che sia difficile coniugare sobrietà, cura del dettaglio, atmosfera e buon gusto come siete riusciti a fare voi.
Come avete fatto? Avete proiettato su di un luogo le vostre migliori caratteristiche - ovviamente la simpatia era difficile veicolarla in qualcosa ma le vostre facce, le vostre due facce...siete fantastici!!!

First of all we would like to thank you from the bottom of our heart for making our stay at Locanda al colle very memorable. When we arrived it brought tears to my eyes as it was more beautiful than I had remembered it from before. Thank-you for being so accommodating and helpful in so many ways. We really appreciated your kindness and patience. We arrived home on July 9th and since that time we have been inundated with office work, yard work and everything else that lacked attention in our absence. But finally all of our holiday pictures are now organized and I thought you might appreciate seeing a few pictures that were taken. We went to the monastery on our way home - it was an amazing place and I highly reccomend it. It was a very relaxing, memorable and enjoyable trip and I'd love to come back at some point; would like to come when camara di Mare is free! Still thinking of those delicious dinners in Pietra Santa.

We really enjoyed our stay and Eloisa and Massimo were really helpful with advise on restaurants and our day at the beach.
The meal at Massimos restaurant was excellent, we also tried one on the Via Garibaldi-The Saint Martino but after the meal we were both up most of the night and the next day with upset tummies!! we think it could have been the sea food spaggetti !
Can you let me know when you will re-open next year.

mancando un 'libro degli ospiti', ti scrivo per salutarti e dirti le nostre impressioni sul breve soggiorno presso la tua Guestshouse, sperando l'incendio dei giorni scorsi sia stato domato. Ci aspettavamo una clientela Gay e più giovane innanzitutto, ma non siamo stati delusi, tutt'altro.. Il posto è incantevole, faremo pubblicità a Torino ed Aosta, stanne certo... La pace che si respira, la cura nei dettagli, la Tua cortesia, il bagno della camera, retrò ed incantevole, le candele, i fiori freschi, i cuccioli del giardiniere... 'Era come esser a casa nostra o nella casa dei nostri sogni'.
Ciò che manca è invece un piccolo frigo bar in camera e la Tv, ormai standard comuni.
